We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist based in Barcelona to take Hevy’s presence and growth on social media platforms to the next level. This role is for a visionary who enjoys crafting bold strategies, cultivating creativity, and driving impactful results. 

You will own the strategic vision of Social Media and execution, ensuring these channels are a key driver of brand love, user engagement, and business growth. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics. 

You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and report to our Head of Marketing.

What you’ll do:

• Own and execute Hevy’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and other channels of interest (YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit).
• Develop and execute an editorial calendar aligned with product and marketing activities to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion
• Create and deliver engaging, high quality and on-brand content tailored to our audience.
• Manage day-to-day community interactions. 
• Work with the marketing team in coordinating and activating ambassadors campaigns. 
• Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, new features and best practices across all platforms to keep Hevy relevant and top-of-feed.
• Help organize and work on amplifying brand partnerships and events. 
• Share results, learnings and inspiration regularly with stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years experience managing and growing social media platforms.
• A proven ability to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversions through social media channels.
• Deep understanding of content performance drivers, algorithms and best practices.
• Fluent in Gen Z. 
• Strategic thinker who can balance big-picture branding with on-the-ground execution.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• You know how to bring ideas to life, from concept to camera to final cut.
• Fluent english speaker (other languages are a plus).
• Bonus: experience as a creator or in a social media‑native brand.

• Weekly output of multiple high-quality, ready-to-post Instagram and TikTok content.
• Growth in engagement rate and app downloads.
• Regular viral hits that drive engagement and conversions.
